Our next gathering will focus on how to show practical care by listening well. Using the biblical lens of 'saint, sufferer, sinner', we'll explore how to ask questions that help someone gain insight into their own heart — and in doing so, help us pray more meaningfully for them. We'll practise these skills together in small groups.New venueFollowing feedback from our first event (at Ashfield Presbyterian Church) we've moved our venue to Burwood Presbyterian Church which will help us hear one another better in our small groups.If you're driving there is no parking at the venue. We recommend parking either within Burwood Plaza or Burwood Westfield—each a short walk from the church hall.Request for a donationIf this is your first time attending you are welcome to attend free of charge. However, if you've been before and are in a position to give a donation of $15 that would be very helpful. There will be opportunity to dontate in person at the event.
