🙏 We invite you to Yogaruka for a somatic evening of intentional transformation — where ancient ritual meets embodied practice. Embrace the sacred medicine of ceremonial cacao together to ground, open the heart and set intentions before launching into a breathwork infused ecstatic dance journey guided by dj dao 道. As the arc softens, you will downshift into restorative yin yoga, allowing the body to land and integrate in stillness while blanketed in the warm, earthly resonance of Tibetan singing bowls. The journey blends into a deeply immersive sound bath weaving blissful handpan sounds, ancient throat singing and entrancing shamanic drumming to clear blockages and deepen your state of rest and tranquility. You awaken to nourishing food to refuel your vessel, with space to connect, reflect, and gently return. 👌

🫂 6:00 - 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 for you to settle into the space. Connect with others, drink some water, use the restroom or simply be.

☕ 6:20 - 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐂𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 - We will acknowledge the land and initiate the journey with a cacao ceremony in which we set our intentions and consume a cup of Immortal Cacao (100% organic, ethically sourced raw chuncho strain medicine from Peru) to help activate the warmth in our heart, stimulate our senses and connect with our natural rhythms.

💃 6:40 - 𝐄𝐜𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 / 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 - dj dao 道 will guide us through a vibrant, diverse, cross-cultural ecstatic dance journey as he weaves powerful breathwork into the music to help regulate your nervous system and expand your internal state. Amrit will be adding live drumming and throat singing taking it to the next level!🪘

🧘 7:30 - 𝐘𝐢𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐚 - After movement and breath, this restorative segment of the evening is about landing — properly. We’ll use long-held, fully supported shapes to let the nervous system come out of activation and into repair. Expect props, stillness, and space to actually feel what’s there once everything else quiets down. There’s very little effort required. The work is in allowing.

🕉️ 8:10 - 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 - The yin yoga flow will gradually blend into a full bodied sound healing immersion, so you’re not being pulled out of rest, just carried deeper into it. Amrit will weave blissful handpan sounds, ancient earthly throat singing and hypnotic shamanic drumming and vocals into an entrancing multi-phase soundscape. Bathe in the tranquility as tension dissolves from your body and mind.

🍇 8:40 - 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 / 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 - Slowly return to your body as we regroup and invite space to share your experience if you wish. We will provide food to refuel your body with delicious sustenance. Feel free to connect with one another before we close the space at 9pm.

✨ 𝐑𝐮𝐚 is a movement practitioner and the founder of Yogaruka, a Sydney-based movement studio focused on intelligent, integrative training. Her work sits at the intersection of strength, mobility, and somatic awareness, shaped by years of experience across rehabilitation, yoga, Pilates, and body-based therapies.
She is particularly interested in how the nervous system organises experience, and how movement, breath, and stillness can shift that organisation. Her approach is precise but intuitive: less about performance, more about learning how to feel, regulate, and inhabit the body with clarity and grace.

🎶 𝐀𝐦𝐫𝐢𝐭 (Shigadi) is a multi-instrumental musician and sound healer, whose vision is to transform and restore balance to the mind, body and soul through the power of sound. He blends his rich background in music, professional psychology and spirituality to help individuals achieve greater holistic wellness. Owner of Immortal Cacao, Amrit facilitates cacao ceremonies to help ignite joy and creativity in people through the loving spirit of this medicine.
As a sound healer, he predominantly uses the handpan, shamanic vocals including his didgeridoo-esque style of Tuvan throat singing, piano, singing bowls and percussion. Specialising in chakra-based voice activation and drumming, Amrit encourages individuals to discover the healing potential of their own natural vibrations. 

☯️ 𝐝𝐣 𝐝𝐚𝐨 道 (Reynolds) is a creative whose canvas is consciousness itself. Inspired by the dao 道 he bridges East & West, past & future with non-duality. dj dao 道 brings love to all people of all lands with breath, music and dance medicine for the soul.
