Your subjects will include a Tawny Frogmouth, a Blue-winged Kookaburra, a Red-tailed Black Cockatoo and a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo. All companion birds are used to people. Please note that bird subjects may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.Your lecturer, Angela Robertson-Buchanan, will talk about their techniques in the field, the importance of maintaining high ethical standards when you are photographing wildlife and why you shouldn’t use flash in the field.As an alternative, they’ll demonstrate their specially designed continuous lighting and daylight studio set-ups, where you will get the opportunity to take some stunning portraits in controlled conditions, demonstrating lighting scenarios that can be applied in the field.You are guaranteed to walk away with not only some breathtaking shots but also a deeper understanding and appreciation of Australian birds and some techniques you can use in the field.Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate levelPlease Note:A selection of Nikon Z series cameras and NIKKOR Z lenses will be available for trial during the session, along with a Nikon representative to answer your questionsSpecial OfferEvery participant will receive a $110 voucher for use towards Nikon products at Ted's Cameras.
