We will start the morning with a Mahadana of alms offering of rice to monastics (pindapata), followed by a picnic lunch. The day will be filled with Buddhist performances, guided meditation, group reflections, opportunities to meet Buddhist monks, nuns and practitioners, and stalls. This is a rare opportunity for the Fourfold Sangha from all major Buddhist traditions to be in attendance together at the same event, and for us to meet with esteemed Buddhist monastics.Program10am - Opening10.15 - Mahadana alms giving (pindapata) - you may bring cooked rice & a spoon to offer to the monastics (a small spoonful each for~20 monastics)11am - Lunch at the pavilion for monastics and picnic lawn for everyone else.
