Alex from Hexial will demonstrate his custom build LED lighting rig used for his live shows along with the software that drives it. There will be a Q&A as part of the talk. On the day, Alex will demonstrate his LED column setup which can be seen in use at the later performance at Burton Library. At the clinic, he will also explain his full scale LED panel setup which can be seen in his promotional videos.

Tickets can also be purchased separately to see Hexial and James Glew perform live at Burton Library on the same day. See separate event on the main Box Office page.

Drop in session with the Youth Landscapers Collective at Piggyback Studios (146 High Street, Burton-on-Trent). 4pm-6pm - Free entry

The Youth Landscapers Collective is a group of young people aged 13-23 from the National Forest area who explore and share the landscape’s industrial past and forest future through creative projects. You can find out about what they do and how to join them. 

Alfie and Kris, associates at Youth Landscapers Collective, will share their ongoing collaboration. They create audio-visual performances and installations combining original music with pixel-mapped and programmable festoon lights with Ableton and Resolume and Avolites. Drop in to see what they’re working on and have a go yourself. 

There is no need to purchase a ticket or book for the drop in session with the Youth Landscapers. Only for the main clinic with Hexial.
