Freaky Friday is a musical comedy, featuring a pop-rock score by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey and a book by Bridget Carpenter, about an overworked mother (Katherine) and her teenage daughter (Ellie) who swap bodies due to a magical hourglass. They have 24 hours to reverse the spell before Katherine’s wedding, navigating each other's lives and gaining mutual understanding.
