**Art in Shopfronts- Expressions of Interest.**
Community Arts and the Cultural Development Association have teamed up to propose an **'Art in Shopfronts**' event for Burnt Pine for 10 days. It would entail having past outfits from Wearable Arts, some entries from Art in the Park and some work from NICS kids in shopfronts though town, with a walking guide to participating shops and a kid's clue hunt and prize! We propose our opening night would co-incide with the Christmas Pageant on December 19th, so after the parade you and your family can walk around town and discover all the windows!
**How you can help:**
**Creative People**: If you have had an entry in Wearable Art or Art in the Park that is still in good condition, and you'd like to be involved, please get in touch. We'll only go ahead if we have enough works to make it happen. We'll also be looking for extra mannequins to borrow, if you have one.
**Shop-owners**: If you could let us use part of your show window display for the 10 days, and also display a small sign with information. We'll be walking around town shortly to chat about how it might work for your shop, and what size display you might like (if you want to participate). It'll be a great way to get added foot traffic to businesses through town, and there will be a map with participating stores included. We'll also try to match the artwork to your shop!
**Vounteers:** We'd love some extra help for the set-up and break down, more details to come, but if you are interested we'll add you to our crew list.
