This is Buck Hill’s premier snowboard race, built for advanced intermediate to expert riders who want speed, flow, and technical challenge all wrapped into one fast, adrenaline-heavy course. Riders will charge through a purpose-built banked slalom featuring aggressive berms, tight transitions, rollers, and drops that reward strong edge control, confident line choice, and the ability to carry speed from top to bottom. This is not an entry-level race—participants should be comfortable riding at speed and navigating advanced terrain. Competitors across Junior, Open, and Master classes will battle it out in a two-run format, with the fastest run counting toward placement and the second-fastest run serving as the tiebreaker. With podium spots on the line for the top three men and women in each age class, expect full-commitment runs and serious snake-charming energy. Whether you’re racing or watching, the Rattlesnake Banked Slalom delivers some of the most exciting snowboard action of the season.
