Experience the synergy between Japanese tradition and Western dairy at the Nikkei Centre. In this expert-led workshop presented by the Sake Association of British Columbia, Certified Sake Sommelier Toshi Uehara demystifies the world of sake. Guests will enjoy a guided flight of premium sakes paired with selected cheeses designed to highlight the complex flavour profiles of both. Open to ages 19+; no prior sake knowledge required.
About Sake Association of British Columbia (SABC):
The SABC was established in 2013. The association serves as a bridge between Japan and Canada, acting as a cultural ambassador for Japanese sake. The SABC's mission is to promote sake culture in Canada.
About the Instructor:
Toshi Uehara is a Certified Sake Sommelier and the President of the Sake Association of British Columbia (SABC). He is dedicated to promoting Japanese sake and deepening appreciation for sake culture in British Columbia.
