We will search for frog and salamander spawn, listen for frogs and and see frogs and tadpoles in the pools and ditches beside the Burnaby Lake trails.If you have a pair of polarized sunglasses, we would recommend bringing them to help you see into the water.The walk is approximately 2.5 km on level ground, at a slow gentle stroll. The trip will take approximately one hour..Stop by the BLPA display display to learn more about the flora and fauna you can see in the park, the work we do and how to get involved!MEETING LOCATION:Meet near the kiosk in front of the Burnaby Lake Nature House - look for the BLPA flag.If you would like detailed driving directions or how to get there by transit, click here.Please take note that if the weather is nice, the parking lot can be very busy. You may need to park along Piper Avenue or at Warner Loat Park right off of Winston which is a 450 m/5 minute walk to the Nature House. There are also train tracks crossing which may be blocked from time to time.We look forward to seeing you! Space is limited.
