Shock Party Returns to the Capitol (again)! This time on the original anniversary, and with sound!
Sponsored by Valley Monster Pub, The Som, and Burlington By the Book
Back in 1970, the Capitol Theater hosted the original all-night Shock Party, a horror marathon that thrilled and chilled Burlington audiences. Now, exactly 55 years later, we’re bringing it back to the big screen in the heart of downtown!
This year’s Shock Party features not one… not two… but THREE wild and weird horror classics on one goose-pimpling program:
🩸 Horrors of the Black Museum – fiendish and violent in blood-curdling color.
🔥 Burn Witch Burn – a nerve-shattering experience of supernatural terror.
⚰️ The Pit and the Pendulum – Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling tale, starring Vincent Price.
PLUS, a bonus indie horror short, Love Knocks Twice, written and directed by Jocelyn Bakacs & Lewis Rhine.
☕ Free coffee and donuts for all who are still with us after the second feature!
📅 Friday, December 26
🕗 Event kicks off at 8:00 PM
