Shed Hunting

Join us for a Shed Hunting Program on Tuesday, March 17th, at Leopold Recreation Area from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Explore the fascinating world of shed antlers and join us for a hike to search for these natural treasures!
Male deer shed their antlers every year, and now is the peak time to find them! This family-friendly event is open to participants of all ages. Registration is required. Please dress for the weather and stay informed about any changes or cancellations via the Starr’s Cave Nature Center Facebook page or by calling (319) 753-5808. We hope to see you there!
