🌱 PLANT PEOPLE, THIS IS YOUR MOMENT 🌱
If you’ve ever thought “I would absolutely throw elbows over a good plant,” Southeast Iowa Resource Center has an event for you.
We are hosting Plant Bingo as a fundraiser, and yes, the prize is plants. Actual plants. The kind people whisper about and aggressively side-eye across folding tables.

🚪 Doors open at 4:30
🎉 Bingo starts at 5:30
We will play 6 regular games and 3 special games, and when you win, you take home a plant. Card packs are $8, special games are $2 per card. There will also be tacos, nachos, and baked goods for purchase because chaos is better fueled.
This event supports Southeast Iowa Resource Center, a local nonprofit that provides low-barrier, no-cost access to essentials like clothing and household goods to help stabilize individuals and families in Southeast Iowa. They meet people where they are and help fill real, immediate needs in our community. This bingo night directly supports that work.
🌿 HOW YOU CAN HELP (AND CAUSE A LITTLE PLANT DRAMA) 🌿
We need donations of plants and baked goods!!
My dream scenario is a lineup of plants so good people get competitive in the most polite Midwestern way possible. I want whispers. I want strategy. I want someone to mutter “I came here for that monstera.”
If you want a very wholesome excuse to yell “BINGO” and leave with foliage, this is it. 🌿
