We are blessed and excited to announce the return of Sr. Lisa Valentini of The Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus to our parish. Many of you will likely remember when Sr. Lisa spoke at our parish several years ago in support of her missionary work. Her talk was infectious, alive with the love of Christ, and her charismatic spirit was contagious. Please see the announcement below.

Father Mahoney and all of St. Veronica Parish invite you to come and reflect together on God’s Love with Sister Lisa Valentini, MSC during our Lenten Parish Mission: Sunday, March 8, Monday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10
7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
* WE WILL HAVE BASKETS FOR YOUR SPECIAL INTENTIONS
* There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
and Adoration each evening from 6:30 ~ 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings we will begin with a half-hour of Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament at 6:30 p.m. – for those who are able to join us – then, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., we will pray, (sing a hymn or two) – together – as we listen to and reflect on the Word of God, and His great LOVE for us. . .We’ll also talk about how to pray, and how to live our faith in today’s world. We will talk about Jesus, Mary, the Saints, Grace, the Sacraments – particularly Reconciliation and the great Sacrament of Sacraments – the Holy Eucharist.
Please know that you are encouraged and are most welcome to participate in the Mission, even if you are unable to come all three evenings. Also, if you can only come for the time of Adoration, that’s OK, too. . .Sister feels that whatever Jesus has to say is infinitely more valuable than anything she’ll be sharing.
EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MAKE A COMMITMENT TO PRAY FOR OUR PARISH DURING THESE DAYS OF PARISH MISSION. WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE ABLE TO ATTEND – IT IS STILL A “PARISH MISSION” – AND THE SPECIAL GRACES AND BENEFITS WILL EXTEND TO THE ENTIRE PARISH – BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. . .
