The Rotary Club of Burlington is proud to announce its Annual Humanitarian Dinner, taking place on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Veteran's Terrace, located at 589 Milwaukee Avenue, Burlington, WI 53105. This year’s event will honor Burlington’s former Mayor, Jeanne Hefty, recognizing her lifetime of extraordinary contributions and dedication to the betterment of the Burlington community.
This special evening celebrates the spirit of service and humanitarian efforts within our community and beyond. The event is open to the public with ticket sales available starting February 2nd, 2026, offering an opportunity for community members to come together, enjoy an inspiring program, and support Rotary’s mission of creating positive changes locally and globally.
This event is a chance to celebrate the remarkable life and legacy of Jeanne Hefty, whose tireless efforts and selfless contributions have left an indelible mark on our community. During Hefty’s tenure, the city built an aquatic center, completed a downtown riverfront development, created a winter festival, recovered from a devastating 2017 flood, launched plans for restoring Echo Lake, and enjoyed its heyday as “Chocolate City U.S.A.”
