To help smooth this transition into adolescence, Women’s Resource Center offers “Growing up and Liking It” a workshop designed for both female caregivers and girls ages 8 to 11 years of age.  The workshop provides information about the changes that come with puberty as well as other physical, emotional, and sexuality issues. 

Participants will also build their own “Period Pack”—a personalized toolkit to help them feel ready and empowered for what’s ahead.
