The Carthage professional team has invested in over 50 companies. Carthage works with a select number of global corporations, family offices and sovereign wealth funds to identify unique investment opportunities which are then funded through private equity capital. Relevant investments include Defiance-Technology (a former division of a publicly traded company) led by Anthony. Carthage partners with senior-level executives, operating partners with industry expertise, to create a rigorous investment process with disciplined portfolio monitoring and management. With over 20 years of venture capital, private equity, investment banking, and corporate experience, Anthony has enjoyed a long and distinguished career, having held positions at Smith Barney, Salomon Brothers, AT&T, New Science Associates, IBM, and GE.Mr. Gee is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business School where he was a Graduate Fellow and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he received his BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and was a National Science Foundation Scholar.
