- **Event Description**: Get ready to taste, move, and experience culture in motion at Joseph Brant Museum during our dine & dance series! This event will introduce you to various cultures through the world of food, music, and dance. Guests will have the opportunity to try hors d’oeuvres and beverages from a specific region of the world (7pm – 8pm) and view the special exhibit “eat make share: a taste of immigration.” A dance demonstration and short, interactive dance lesson will then follow on the museum’s Rooftop Terrace (8pm – 9pm). Dance demonstrations and interactives will be provided in partnership with local, cultural organizations.
 
Tickets are $35/person, or $40/person with an alcoholic drink ticket. All tickets include museum admission, hors d’oeuvres, light refreshments, a dance demonstration, and interactive dance lesson. This is an 16+ event. The dance portion of the event will be moved indoors in the case of inclement weather. 

August 15, 2026, 7pm – 9pm | A Night in Ukraine with Tyrsa Ukrainian Dance School

Discover the beauty of Ukraine with Tyrsa Ukrainian Dance School as they perform different regional dances. Guests will have the opportunity to learn a Canadian-Ukrainian classic dance, the heel-toe polka, and an introduction to social polka dancing. Tyrsa Ukrainian Dance School was formed in 1977 by a group of young Canadians wishing to keep their Ukrainian culture alive. Operating out of the Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church hall in downtown Burlington, Tyrsa runs community events throughout the year, along with dance class instruction.

The event will also feature Zirkova Vodka - founded by Canadians and headquartered in Oakville. Zirkova brings the best of Ukrainian vodka to Canada and is crafted in Cherkasy Ukraine, the geographic birthplace of vodka.
