Cuban Salsa Workshops & Party

Snowmotion Dance is excited to welcome back Julián Mejia from SALSAtlanta Saturday January 10th!

Schedule:
Beginner Casino: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
This workshop is for linear dancers curious about Casino and for Casino dancers looking to hone their technique and solidify their connection. We will work on: framing, communication, connectivity, how to lead with intention (rather than pulling or pushing) and how to follow with ease by always stepping and listening through your frame.

Intermediate Casino: 2:10 PM - 3:10 PM
We’ll apply the techniques from the first workshop by translating them into cohesive combinations. Let’s make the dance a fluid conversation between leader and follower.
This class is ideal for beginner and intermediate Casino dancers working to improve their dancing outside rueda, as well as linear dancers open to challenging themselves with a different dance approach.

Rueda: 3:20 PM - 4:20 PM
It’s time to dive into rueda! We’ll also practice your calling skills—if you’ve never called before, Julián will get you started.

Cost for classes $25/class or $60 for all 3
Party: Time TBD
