- **Event Description**: Please join us for a free presentation titled "Civil War Cannons: Who Owns Them Today" given by Professor Bruce Kindig, BA, MA author of "Courage and Devotion: A History of Bankhead's/Scotts' Tennessee Battery in the American Civil War." He will discuss Civil War cannons around the Quad Cities and Des Moines County. Professor Kindig has a BA and MA in history from the University of Northern Iowa. A teacher at Davenport North High School, he was head of the Social Studies Department, as well as an adjunct professor at Scott Community College. Therre will be NO admission charge.
