- **Event Description**: The public is invited to the Capitol Theater for a special Open House on Sunday, June 7th from 2:00–4:00 PM.

As we celebrate our fourteenth year of programming and activities, we want to thank the community for its support and invite you to take the time to visit your Capitol theater again and
preview what we have planned in the coming months.

Come see the reveal of a large portion of the upcoming 2026–2027 season lineup. During the Open House, the Capitol will also have six drawings for pairs of tickets to an upcoming concert of your choice.    All tickets purchased that day will also have the $3 sustainability fee waived.

The Night Cap will be open for drinks, and guests will have the opportunity to meet many of the organizations that call the Capitol home.

At 2:00 PM, there will be a presentation highlighting upcoming Capitol events, along with short talks from the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Burlington Civic Music, and the Bart Howard Foundation.

Immediately following the presentation, guests can enjoy live music by Jamie Hunerdosse.

Visitors are encouraged to explore tables hosted by the many organizations and groups that use the Capitol, including:
•	Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra
•	Burlington Civic Music
•	Bart Howard Foundation
•	Code Red
•	Snake Alley Festival of Film
•	Annex Club

There will also be a Capitol table where guests can learn about volunteer opportunities and sign up for the theater newsletter.

And while you’re there, enjoy a free popcorn!
