Program check-in begins at 9am at the Main Library in Burlington. Bus departs at 9:15am. The tour will take participants on a journey through Boone County to locations connected to the Underground Railroad. The participants can expect to get on and off the bus at different locations with about 1 hour of light walking. Boxed lunch will be provided. The bus is expected to return to the library close to 2:30pm. Register in person at the Main Library beginning August 10. Cost is $25 cash or check (Payable to the Boone County Public Library).Questions to historycenter@bcpl.org.
