United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is gearing up for tax season, and we’re looking for compassionate volunteers who want to help local families keep more of what they earn. Whether you love numbers or just love helping people, there’s a role for you. Greeters, tax preparers, and support volunteers are all needed, and no prior experience is required. A few hours a week can make a big impact.

Requirements
• No experience is needed. Free training is provided to help you become IRS certified.

• Flexible commitment. Volunteer from February to April and choose the hours that fit your schedule.

• Supportive environment. We offer on-site support, so you are never on your own.
