- **Event Description**: The Lower Puget Sound Dressage is hosting a free youth clinic, with location hosted by the Westhaven Riding School in Port Orchard, WA! This free clinic is intended as a fun (on foot!) introduction to the sport of dressage for youth 5yo-17yo, no horses required. 

This event is perfect for your horse-crazy kiddo, Pony Clubber, 4H-er, WAHSET members, riders who may not be able to travel with their favorite school horse, or any youth who just want to see if dressage is something they'd like to pursue. 

There will be two sessions available on Saturday July 18th, 2026:
 
Session One: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Session Two: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Light snacks / beverages will be provided.

Registration is FREE but limited to 12 youth participants per session (24 total for the day). Please sign up through the event ticket link here. Once we are full, reach out to lpsshowsec@gmail.com to get on a waitlist or for any additional questions. 

Our clinic leader for the day is Tabby Ann, co-founder of Courageous Strides of the PNW, a 501c(3) managed along with her husband Garrett. 

We would like to encourage anyone and everyone to check out Courageous Strides of the PNW and their mission to provide equine centered mental health and resiliency services to veterans, first responders, and the community in which they live. While this is a free event, any donations you'd like to make toward their organization would be meaningful to us and the equestrian community they serve.
