This significant day provides an opportunity to reflect, listen, and continue conversations about healing, truth, and moving forward together.Two community-led events will be held.Event 1: The morning session (10:30am–12:00pm) will include free morning tea and a live stream from the Link-Up event in Brisbane, highlighting the important role of reconnecting Aboriginal people who were removed from their families back to their families, culture, and Country.Event 2: The evening session (5:00pm–7:00pm) will feature afternoon tea, a screening of the National Apology on the big screen, and a facilitated Q&A with Elders and community Seniors. This discussion will centre on lived experiences of the Stolen Generations, reflections on the Apology, and pathways toward healing and understanding.Both events are free to attend. Please register for a free ticket for each person for catering purposes and invite your mob, friends, neighbours, or work colleagues to join in acknowledging this important anniversary.
