The City of Gold Coast Movies under the Stars program is free, family-friendly fun on offer from September 2024 through to April 2025 right across the city. 

Head to John Laws Park to enjoy the atmosphere, admire the sunset over Burleigh, and stick around for a surf-themed film under the stars. At John Laws Park, we’ll be screening a family-friendly, inspiring film about Matt Formston, the remarkable blind surfer who defied all odds to become a world champion. Witness Matt's incredible journey as he overcomes challenges, inspiring audiences of all ages to chase their dreams and never give up. Don't miss this heart-warming story of perseverance and triumph!
