IT”S A CONCERT!
IT”S THE EVENT OF THE CENTURY!
OK, so maybe I am exaggerating just a wee little bit! But this is gonna be a fun day!
Get there as early as you like; but the hike will begin at 8:30 am SHARP! Because I will show you as
much as I possibly can on and off the Lower Cammerer Trail in 3 hours. Our main destination will be a large chimney not far off the trail a little over a mile up the trail.
At the moment I am gonna call it a brown bag lunch, but if there is enough interest then perhaps we will have a Potluck.
Approximately Noon, I will be performing some music on various instruments. Some of which you may never have seen or heard! Most definitely I will be playing on serveral Native American Flutes.
I will also have copies of my book, some DVD’s with mapping data such as GPS tracks and coordinates, and my music on CD and Flash Drive. I am not selling anything. It will all be for donation to help my wife with medical expenses from her recent surgery. You DO NOT have to make a donation to hike or attend. The event is free.
And for anyone concerned that they will be missing Church; you will be in the greatest Church on the planet - Great Smoky. At some point I will deliver your Sunday sermon. It will be non-denominational and suitable for all! So come on down, chill out and have a relaxing day in the Smokies!
I do have the pavilion reserved. The Park itself is not closed. I know that Friends of the Smokies and other Organizations have funded facilities to be open next weekend so hopefully the same will be true of that weekend or the Shut Down will end. I plan to be there no matter so I hope you will join me and we shall have a really fun day of hiking, music and fellowship. Feel free to share this post!
