WSCJTC is honored to host Chief for a Day, a heartwarming event where Washington law enforcement agencies sponsor incredible children living with chronic or debilitating illnesses. For one unforgettable day, these brave kids are sworn in as honorary Chiefs and Sheriffs, celebrating their strength with a day full of fun, festivities, and support for their families. 💙

To ensure every child and family feels celebrated in a way that is meaningful, balanced, and comfortable for all, the event is thoughtfully designed to create joyful memories while honoring each child’s unique journey.

But the celebration doesn’t stop there! Each agency "adopts" their Chief for the entire year, inviting them to agency events and building lasting bonds.
