Forge something legendary this winter!  Turn your curiosity into creation with this 4-week immersive introduction to the art of blacksmithing. This is a hands-on, project based course designed for absolute beginners (ages 16+). 

Over the 4 week course, you get to design and create your own custom project from start to finish with the help of instructors in this intimate class with a maximum of 6 other participants.

Sundays in January and February: 3:30pm - 6:30pm

SEMESTER 1 2026: January 4, 11, 18, 25
SEMESTER 2 2026: February 1, 8, 15, 22

Target Audience: People with an interest in shaping and building things out of steel through forging age +16. No experience necessary.

Tool Skills Learned: Twists and shaping, Drawing, Punching Holes

Maximum Class Size: 6 Participants + Auditors

Syllabus:
Class 1 - Forging: Twists and Shaping
Class 2 - Project Development: Drawing Steel
Class 3 - Project Development: Punching Holes
Class 4 - Project Wrap Up

Blacksmithing Courses
$50 each + $30 supplies **
$250 for four class segment (as Participant with Supplies)
**due to limited anvil and forge space Single Class attendance is only sold as available. Priority is given to those registering for the entire course.


Auditing Courses: (attending, learning, watching but no hands-on)
$50 each
$150 for four classes (as Auditor)

BE SURE TO NOTE WHETHER YOU ARE REGISTERING AS AN AUDITOR OR A PARTICIPANT

For the Blacksmithing you MUST pay the additional cost to be a participant for equipment and supplies. The additional cost is $100 for the entire segment or $30 for an individual class.
When registering as an auditor, you may use your package to register for an entire segment (4 class series) OR various classes from all four farrier course or Blacksmithing segments. When you are auditing the Blacksmithing, Forging or Shoeing classes you will not be able to participate in the hands on activities
