Proof, by David Auburn, is a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play that explores genius, family, love, and the fragile line between brilliance and madness.
Set in Chicago, the story follows Catherine, a young woman struggling with grief after the death of her brilliant but mentally ill father, a renowned mathematician. When a former student discovers a groundbreaking proof among her father’s papers, questions of authorship, trust, and truth begin to surface.
This intimate and emotionally charged production invites audiences to reflect on the cost of genius and the courage it takes to claim one’s own voice.
