About the event

HOME ECONOMICS at The Moose • SEWING & MENDING BASICS
Our once-a-month home economics classes are back on June 12th and are a continuation of last month's class.

For those taking it for the first time, this is what we will learn:

• 4 Basic Hand Stitches
• How to sew buttons & closures
• Sewing safety
• How to fix rips and holes in your clothes

This is a Hands-on experience, so please bring an article of clothing you would like to mend.

We'll be able to provide materials, but we encourage you to use your personal tools.

If you do not own a basic sewing kit it, they are very inexpensive and can be purchased at most stores.
