This is a five-stage, 2-gun "run and gun" style match, meaning there will be an athletic component and most shooting will be done under physical stress. HOWEVER, shooters may also register under "Lite" division which minimizes physical requirements to something more reminiscent of a standard 2-gun/3-gun type match. The match requires a semi-automatic carbine and a pistol, and will include a "battlefield pickup" weapon from our collection or those of our supporters, and a run through our ballistic shoot house. The match is designed to be run with duty type gear, and utilizes our own target engagement and scoring protocol, meant to best simulate engagement in combat. Round count is typically well under 200 rounds each rifle/pistol. Significant time bonuses are given competitors who run the match with armor plates, both guns on them during all stages, and beginning the stages with 5 full mags of rifle ammo, and three full mags of pistol ammo.
