Based in Boulder, Colorado, Carson travels worldwide teaching his signature inversion and arm-balance workshops and while he’s making his way through Central Florida, Yoga Elements will be the only studio on his route hosting him. This is a unique opportunity to learn from Carson right here in our community.

Join us for a 2.5-hour deep dive into inversions + arm balances, designed to be approachable enough to explore something new while offering plenty of challenge for experienced practitioners.

This workshop is ALL LEVELS with a Level 2 lean. You do not need to already have a handstand, headstand, or even crow to attend. Crow experience is helpful, but absolutely not required.

We’ll explore crow, headstand, forearm stand, handstand, pressing, floating, transitions in and out of arm balances, plus drills and techniques you can continue working with long after the workshop ends.

Newer to inversions? You’ll build foundations, strength, technique, body awareness, and confidence as you begin getting your feet off the ground.

Already comfortable upside down? Come ready to play. Carson will offer deeper progressions, transitions, presses, floats, and challenges so you can explore your edge and take your inversion practice further.

Meet Carson

Carson Calhoun began practicing yoga in 2010 and has since become known for combining serious inversion skills with a teaching style that keeps the practice playful and approachable. A self-described “Handstand-Up Comedian,” Carson brings humor, curiosity, and a love of movement into his classes while encouraging students to push beyond perceived limitations.

Expect to sweat, play, fall, laugh, learn and spend a good portion of the afternoon upside down.
