Hit the sand for a game of beach volleyball with Bunbury Volleyball, vibe out to live music from Bunbury’s own Karrak (pop, RnB, electronic – you’ll want to stay for the whole set), and get creative with Freedom State’s art activities. 

Paint a sea creature for our Ocean of Us community bunting – a collaborative artwork celebrating Wardan (the ocean) – or design your own tote bag to take home. No art skills needed, just your imagination.

There’ll be games, free books, alcohol-free drinks from headspace Bunbury, and a feed of kangaroo stew, damper, and fish kebabs prepared with Keipa Boodja. It’s all free and it’s all for you.

Come as you are. Come solo or bring your crew. This is a relaxed, inclusive space to connect, create, eat well, and soak up the sunset with other young people in your community.

Schedule: 
3:30pm – Arrive, settle in, art activities and music begins 
3:50pm – Welcome to Country 
4:00pm – Art activities and music continue 
4:15pm – Beach volleyball: skills demo + have a go 
5:00pm – Volleyball wraps up, help out with cooking 
5:30pm – Event ends
