- **Event Description**: A gentle, playful sound journey designed especially for children aged 4 - 8 to explore sound, relaxation and inner strength in a safe, supportive environment.

Using Peter Hess sound bowls, children will first playfully explore sound. Seeing how it creates movement, feeling gentle vibrations, and learning how sound can be felt as well as heard. This hands-on experience helps children settle naturally and become curious, calm listeners.

The session then moves into a guided sound journey, where children rest comfortably while listening to soothing sounds and a short story about beautiful garden in the sunshine and how we are still growing but have a safe place inside of us. 

Children are never asked to share personal experiences, and participation is always optional. They may sit or lie down, keep their eyes open or closed and engage in whatever way feels comfortable for them.

What to Bring

Comfortable clothing

Optional favourite blanket, cushion, or cuddly toy
(Blankets and cushions are provided, but familiar comfort items are welcome)

What to Expect

A calm, nurturing experience combining sound, silence and imagination

A relaxing sound journey supporting emotional awareness and a sense of safety

Different responses are normal, some children feel relaxed, others focused or quietly curious

Parent / Carer Attendance

A parent or carer is expected to attend with their child. Children will not be left unsupervised and adults are asked to remain present to support their child during the session.  

The cost includes the parent/carer/support person, so there is only the need to purchase one ticket per child.

I am a qualified Social Worker and have a current working with children's card. I have worked previously as a play therapist. I have experience in a daycare, schools and the health system.    

Please get in touch if you have questions or the age group does not suit there is a second session for 8 to 13 year olds at 12 - 1pm.
