Due to the special nature of this event and limited seating, payment is required to reserve your spot. The owner is graciously closing her shop exclusively for our book club, and we want to honor this gesture with confirmed RSVPs. The event fee is all-inclusive and covers all tea beverages, snacks, treats, and gratuity. Once you arrive, all you have to do is relax and enjoy!
If you’ve never attended a silent reading hour, it’s a special time and unlike any other Bookclub you’ve ever imagined. There are NO assigned readings. Read what you want: Hardback, paperback, graphic novel, textbook, kindle - all formats welcome. And NO GENRE JUDGEMENTS 🤓
We grab a snack or drink, visit for a while, read for an hour and then visit again if so desired.
The concept of Silent Book Club is simple: read, drink, and hang out with fellow book lovers! There is no assigned reading and discussion is optional. It's the introvert's perfect happy hour!
11:00 - 12:00 find a seat, enjoy high tea service, and visit!
12:00 - 1:30 extended reading "hour", please step away to visit
1:30 - 2:00 visit and look forward to next time!
