Join local photographer and author Madeline Logan-Davis at Curt Gowdy State Park for a unique exploration of the Laramie Range through the lens of history and art. A resident of these mountains for over 11 years, Madeline is currently documenting the “Waterfalls of Wyoming” a project dedicated to preserving the state’s hidden water features.

The program begins with a 30-minute presentation, “Honoring Our Past” where Madeline shares field research and historical insights from the upcoming book Waterfalls of Wyoming. This is followed by a 50-minutes smartphone photo walk, teaching participants how to capture professional-grade landscape imagery using the technology in their pockets. The session concludes with a 10- minute Q&A at the Visitor Center to review shots and discuss conservation through photography. Discover how to document Wyoming’s rugged beauty
