Esseks: Esseks (Sam Eckstein) is a Brooklyn-based producer and visual artist. His music ranges from all the bass-centric genres with a focus on the off-kilter. The diverse elements of his music are tied together with Esseks’ subtly dark but playful sound and visual aesthetic. He has built an extensive catalog of music since his first release in 2012 across various labels, including Wakaan, Subcarbon, Saturate, and most recently Deadbeats. His music is accompanied by visual work that is a key component to his vision, whether illustration, animation, or design. All of the artwork, merchandise, and visual content on stage are illustrated and designed by Esseks himself. An audiophile through and through, he is also the owner and operator behind Hi-Vi Sound System. Currently residing in Asheville, North Carolina, Tunic flies the flag of soundsystem culture high throughout the East coast. He has cemented himself as a major player in the American dubstep scene and plans to continue to push the underground sounds one session at a time.
