Beginners enter this class to learn about using the planer, tables saw, router, and sander. Participants leave with a timeless keepsake, a personalized cutting board, and a whole new set of skills.Skills/Topics Covered:Safely using woodshop toolsMatching wood properties with intended useSelecting different types of glues used in woodworking and when to use themApplying and maintaining finishes and learning which finishes are food-safeClass Cost: $100 (all materials included)Class Size: Min 4/ Max 8SAFETY- Please wear closed toed shoes for safety in the woodshopThis class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run.
