- **Event Name**: Coptic Stitch Duo Bookbinding Class
- **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 01 Jul, 2026 at 03:00 pm – Wed, 01 Jul, 2026 at 05:30 pm
- **Event Description**: In this class you will create a dynamic duo of coptic bound journals. One to keep and one to give away – if you can bear to part with either. Coptic binding originated in 2nd century Egypt, and are perfect for drawing, journaling, and collage work because they can lay completely flat. Participants will make two books approximately 4.25 x 5.5 inches with decorative paper covers.

While coptic stitch is a more advanced method of bookbinding than say a simpler Pamphlet Stitch, this class is geared towards beginners and welcomes makers of all skill levels. Join us!

This is a two date workshop, participants must attend both dates of this class, both dates listed in registration form.
