NEW CLASS ALERT!!!! This is for the ‘intermediate’ royal icing cookie decorator. It’s not mandatory to have been to one of our classes before, but a basic understanding of flood & stiff royal icing consistencies will help.
Have you ever wanted to do something for a very long time, and then finally made it happen? Good for you, yay! Well….now it’s my turn!
In this 3 hour class, we’re going to go step by step to decorate this Christmas porch scene! You will have creative freedom to create the color scheme and porch items you would like. While we’re going through royal icing techniques like making a flood consistency, wet on wet designs, and working with stiffer consistencies for finer details, we’ll also be talking about how to make royal icing, how to create these consistencies (instead of just having them bagged up and ready for you). We’ll use edible paints for finishing touches, and have an airbrush on hand to create eyecatching details.

– 11-13 sugar cookies to decorate your scene
– Recipe for the royal icing, as well as a document with tips on consistencies and my favorite social accounts and websites for learning & inspiration
– A goodie bag of supplies and ingredients from our new retail shop! (think piping bags, sprinkles, royal icing transfers, gel colors, etc)
– 3 hours of instruction in a small class size setting to answer all your royal icing and sugar cookie questions
– A festive, holly jolly afternoon to get you in the Christmas spirit, AND tips to create professional looking sugar cookies for the holidays!
