- **Event Description**: Our BFF Program is recruiting volunteers for the 2026 season. Join this great group of outdoor lovers who dedicate their time to helping our community get out on the lakes! The purpose of this program is to provide free boating excursions to seniors, veterans, vulnerable youth, adults, and families. This is a very popular program - spots fill up quick!

We need two volunteers per boat ride - a captain and first mate. Captains are responsible for operating the pontoon and ensuring everyone has a safe trip. First mates are responsible for assisting riders on/off the boat and supervising those fishing.

You can volunteer for one boat trip, or dozens!  

We will offer two training sessions, but you only need to attend one. Please contact us if you have any questions.
