- **Event Description**: VYAYAM is happy to offer the 200 hour In person / live online yoga teacher training (200 hr YTT) recognized by Yoga Alliance (YA) of USA. These are not pre-recorded modules. This is a live online / in-person training with a real person. Completion of this training will enable the trainees to register with Yoga Alliance for the RYT -200 (Registered Yoga Teacher - 200 hr) designation by paying the applicable dues to YA. This designation is widely recognized in the yoga and fitness industry, and many a times, is a required qualification to start teaching yoga in various settings, such as yoga studios, fitness clubs, community centers. Even if one doesn't want to start teaching yoga right away, this teacher training is an excellent way to deepen one's personal physical and spiritual practice, grow one's understanding of yoga philosophy, and improve one's quality of life by developing body - breath - mind awareness. You're invited to take this 26 week journey with us.
VYAYAM's sixth SARVANG Yog 200 hour YTT will run from September 7, 2024 to March 1, 2025. Classes will meet in person and online via Zoom every Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and every Thursday 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning September 7, 2024 and ending March 1, 2025. All timings are as per central time zone. Thanksgiving break will be observed November 28-30, and winter break will be observed December 22, 2024 - January 2 2025. Each teacher trainee is required to attend at least two in person / live online group yoga classes offered by VYAYAM per week. 90 % class attendance is mandatory for each trainee to graduate from VYAYAM's SARVANG Yog YTT.
Qualifications to enroll for VYAYAM's SARVANG Yog 200 hr YTT :
1) Minimum one year of at least once a week group or private yoga class practice with an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher).
2) One letter of reference from your yoga teacher or your fellow yoga practitioner from your group yoga practice.
3) One letter of reference from any other professional acquaintance.
4) An essay of 2-3 paragraphs, explaining why you want to attend this YTT.
Required Readings -
1) Yoga : Mastering the Basics by Sandra Anderson and Rolf Sovik.
2) Science of Breath by Swami Rama.
3) Four Chapters on Freedom by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
4) Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha by Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
Fees and Payment Policy -
1) Plan 1 - If paid in full by August 1, 2024 - $3,300, out of which, $500 will be considered as non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.
If this enrollment is canceled before September 6, 2024, $500 non-refundable deposit will be retained by VYAYAM, and $2,800 will be refunded to the enrollee within one month of written cancellation notice received by VYAYAM.
If this enrollment is canceled within the three months of program commencement, $500 non-refundable deposit + $600 for each month attended (or any portion thereof) will be retained by VYAYAM and the rest will be refunded to the enrollee within one month of written cancellation notice received by VYAYAM.
No refunds will be issued after three months of commencement of the program.
2) Plan 2 - If paid in full on or before the first day (September 7, 2024) - $3,500, out of which, $500 will be considered as non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.
If this enrollment is canceled within the three months of enrollment, $500 non-refundable deposit + $600 for each month attended (or any portion thereof) will be retained by VYAYAM and the rest will be refunded to the enrollee within one month of written cancellation notice received by VYAYAM.
No refunds will be issued after three months of enrollment in the program.
3) Plan 3 - If paid in three monthly installments of $1,250 each (due on the first class of September, October, November, each) - $3,750, out of which, $500 will be considered as non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.
If this enrollment is canceled within the three months of enrollment, $500 non-refundable deposit + $700 for each month attended (or any portion thereof) will be retained by VYAYAM and the rest will be refunded to the enrollee within one month of written cancellation notice received by VYAYAM.
No refunds will be issued after three months of enrollment in the program.
4) Plan 4 - If paid in six monthly installments of $660 each (due on the first class of September, October, November, December, January, and February, each) - $3,960.
No Refunds are available for this payment plan.
5) Payment is accepted via Zelle / Venmo.
6) All payment plans above include unlimited access for the 200 hour YTT participant to VYAYAM's monthly live online group yoga-pilates classes - a $510 value! All payment plans above include access to in-person group classes on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 a.m. - $690 value! Total $1,200 worth group classes included as part of your YTT fees ($510 + $690 = $1,200).
7) The Certification of Completion is awarded only upon the receipt of full payment as per chosen plan, and after all the assignments / tests are completed successfully by the trainees.
? If you're unable to complete the course in the given time frame and wish to complete it the next time the course is offered, unused portion of your fees will be transferred to the new course, when and if it runs.
An additional payment of $500 non-refundable deposit will be required to transfer your unused hours to the new course.
This arrangement is a courtesy of VYAYAM, and not an obligation of VYAYAM.
9) VYAYAM's decision is final in all matters above.
