Swimmers is the sixth exhibition by Daniel García in Mar Dulce Gallery and features 15 new small format paintings in acrylic on paper.

Daniel García was born in 1958 in Rosario, where he still lives and works. He has been exhibiting since 1981. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including the 47th Venice Biennale (1997), the 6th Havana Biennial (1997), the 1st and 2nd Mercosur Biennials (Porto Alegre, Brazil, 1997 and 1999), and De Ponta-Cabeça, the 1st Fortaleza Biennial (Brazil, 2002). His most recent solo exhibitions include: Otros cuadros en otras paredes  (2024), EstudioG Gallery, Rosario; Luces y Sombras  (2025), Contraviento Cultural Center, Rosario; Desquicio  (2025), Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center, Buenos Aires; and Un bárbaro en Asia  (2025), Juan Murray Museum, Funes. In 2025 he received the National Professional Pathway Award (MNBA, Buenos Aires) and the Career Distinction Award from the National Academy of Fine Arts.

Mar Dulce gallery specializes in small and medium-format paintings, drawings, prints, artists' books, and objects by classic and contemporary artists from the Río de la Plata region. Alongside the main exhibition, we present +COLLECTIVE94, a curated selection of works by other gallery artists and invited guests.
