Join us for an intensive, hands-on Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification. WFR is the industry standard for anyone leading groups, working, or recreating in remote, low-resource environments.
Over seven full days, you will build essential wilderness medicine skills, practice critical decision making, and gain the confidence to manage medical emergencies when evacuation or outside help may be hours or days away.
This course is taught by experienced wilderness medicine instructors who actively work in the field and understand the realities of real-world decision making. Instruction is grounded in experience, not just textbooks.
Expect long days, active participation, and realistic scenarios. This course is demanding, engaging, and designed to prepare you for real situations rather than simply passing a test.
This course is ideal for outdoor professionals, guides, educators, trip leaders, search and rescue volunteers, and backcountry travelers who need to be prepared when it matters most.
Certification Details:
• Wilderness First Responder certification valid for three years
• American Heart Association approved BLS for Healthcare Providers, CPR, and AED certification valid for two years
• Meets reciprocity standards with SOLO, NOLS/WMI, WMA, DMM, AERIE, Wilderness Medicine Outfitters, and others
