It's founder, Mikao Usui, a Japanese, Buddhist lay priest, martial artist, and spiritual seeker, shared what he learned along his own spiritual path with others who sought him out to mentor and instruct them on their path. So, The Reiki System is first and foremost a spiritual healing path that includes hands-on healing as one of its "tools" and practices. My spiritual path activated in profound ways when reiki came into my life. And many share similar personal reiki stories. The few years leading up to my reiki introduction, I was longing to slow down and connect more deeply to myself, others, and Nature. Reiki entered and guided me into a new and more authentic way of being, and I knew from the start that I wanted to become a teacher in this lineage and share this special path with all who were interested. It will be a delight to share reiki magic in such a beautiful location a couple of hours outside of Denver at Freebird Valley. Reiki Level I focuses on self-care, the foundation of the Reiki System and being able to offer hands-on healing support to friends and family.
