This year at The Pearl Exchange, we want to use this occasion to draw attention to the importance of inclusive and diverse places to support mental wellbeing. What better way to celebrate this by bringing together the wonderful community of Bude and beyond to showcase a culturally diverse film: Palestine Comedy Club.

We all have mental health and we all experience ups and downs as we navigate life’s demands. Coming together in community, whether through shared activities, events, or simply connecting with neighbours, fosters a sense of belonging, strengthens relationships and empowers individuals. It makes us feel loved, accepted and safe, which are key factors to a happy, fulfilled life experience.

So this year we want to gather our beloved community for a fun cultural journey: an evening of sharing a beautiful Palestinian inspired plant based meal, followed by watching Palestine Comedy Club, an inspirational film on how to keep smiling when things get tough.

What: Food + Film screening
Why: To highlight the role of diverse and inclusive places in supporting positive mental health

All ages are welcome. Under 16's need to be accompanied by an adult.
