Wagner: Az istenek alkonya

A tetralógia záródarabjában beteljesül a végzet: a gyűrű átka pusztulást hoz, mégis felcsillan a megváltás reménye a zenekar éteri szólamaiban. Fischer Ádám és a Magyar Rádió Művészeti Együttesei nélkül a Budapesti Wagner-napok elképzelhetetlen lenne: odaadásuk és az általuk képviselt minőség a fesztivál garanciája, akárcsak Hartmut Schörghofer stilizált rendezése, mindez a „Werktreue”, a mű iránti hűség jegyében, a primer jelentésre és a zenére összpontosítva. A világklasszis énekesgárda is ezt az élményt szolgálja: Albert Pesendorfer Hunding után Hagen szerepében lép elénk, Alberichet ezúttal is Jochen Schmeckenbecher kelti életre, de visszatérő vendége a fesztiválnak Siegfriedként Stefan Vinke is, Birger Radde pedig Guntherként 2024-ben tett először mély benyomást a Müpa közönségére.

In the final chapter of the tetralogy, fate plays out: the curse of the ring brings destruction, yet the ethereal strains of the orchestra provide a glimmer of hope of redemption. The Budapest Wagner Days would be unimaginable without Ádám Fischer and the Hungarian Radio Art Groups: their dedication and the quality they represent are the festival’s hallmark alongside Hartmut Schörghofer’s stylized direction, all in the interests of being ‘Werktrue’, or faithful to the work, and focusing on its primary meaning and the music. The world-class cast only enhances this experience: Having played Hunding, Albert Pesendorfer now takes on Hagen, while Jochen Schmeckenbecher returns as Alberich. Stefan Vinke, a regular at the festival as Siegfried, and Birger Radde, who made a strong impression as Gunther in 2024, also return to captivate the Müpa audience.
