OKVSHO +experience

A magyar közönség számára az Okvsho nem egyszerűen a vibráló európai jazzélet egyik legígéretesebb és legizgalmasabb szereplője. Bár Zürichből érkeznek, a testvérpár családneve árulkodó: Christoph és Georg Kiss elektronikus zenei alkotóelemeket, kifejező beateket, elragadó harmóniákat gombolyító zenéjét közel fogjuk érezni magunkhoz. A duó debütáló EP-jével 2018-ban lépett a szélesebb nyilvánosság elé. Negyedik – A Place Between Us címmel megjelent – projektjük, minden eddiginél intimebb, egyben merészebb anyag. A Showcase záróestjén Horváth Áron Junior Prima-díjas és Jazz Showcase szakmai díjas cimbalomművészt hívják vendégül, hogy felmutassák zenéik egylényegűségét.

For Hungarian audiences, Okvsho is more than just one of the most promising and exciting bands on the vibrant European jazz scene. Although they hail from Zurich, the sibling duo’s family name is telling: Christoph and Georg Kiss weave together elements of electronic music, expressive beats and enchanting harmonies to create something close to our hearts. The duo debuted before a wider audience with their EP in 2018. Their fourth project, entitled A Place Between Us, is their most intimate and daring work yet. On the closing night of the Showcase, they invite Junior Prima and Jazz Showcase award-winning cimbalom artist Áron Horváth as a guest to highlight the shared essence of their music.
