- **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 16 Feb, 2027 at 07:00 pm – Tue, 16 Feb, 2027 at 10:00 pm (+01:00)
- **Event Description**: A Dead Poet Society új dallal és nagyszabású európai turnéval tér vissza – februárban Budapesten is fellépnek.

A Los Angeles-i Dead Poet Society 2027 elején nagyszabású európai és brit turnéra indul.

A Roach, akárcsak a korábban megjelent Sinner Systems, Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Pierce the Veil) produceri munkájával készült, Adam Hawkins (Turnstile, Yungblud) keverte, a felvételek pedig Los Angelesben, a Valley View Studiosban és a The Park stúdióban készültek.

A Dead Poet Society tagjai Jack Underkofler (ének, gitár, billentyűk), Jack Collins (gitár, vokál, billentyűk), Dylan Brenner (basszusgitár, gitár) és Will Goodroad (dob). A zenekar 2021-ben debütált a „!” című albummal, amelyet 2024-ben a FISSION követett. Utóbbit a Kerrang! magabiztos, fuzzos alternatív rockként méltatta, a New Noise maximális pontszámmal jutalmazta, a Rolling Stone France pedig egyszerűen „robbanásveszélyesnek” nevezte. A zenekar a FISSION turnéjával 2024-ben Budapesten is fellépett, most pedig új dalaikkal, február 16-n térnek vissza az Akvárium Klubba.

A koncertre a jegyértékesítés július 3-án 10 órakor indul a www.livenation.hu és a www.funcode.hu oldalakon.

Dead Poet Society return with a new single and a massive european tour – Budapest show announced for February
Los Angeles-based rock band Dead Poet Society will embark on an extensive UK and European headline tour in early 2027. Running from late January through early March, the tour will also stop in Budapest, where the band will perform at Akvárium Klub on February 16.

Alongside the tour announcement, Dead Poet Society have released their latest standalone single, Roach, accompanied by a dark and cinematic music video co-directed by frontman Jack Underkofler and Mindreader.
Resent. That is what this song is about,” the band shared. “It’s about those who have wronged you, taken advantage of you, hurt you. Let the feeling fester and consume you.”
The accompanying video brings these emotions to life through striking cinematic visuals, gradually transforming an atmosphere of unease into one of overwhelming dread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq49ijYNTJc
Like the previously released Sinner Systems, Roach was produced by Paul Meany (Twenty One Pilots, Pierce the Veil), mixed by Adam Hawkins (Turnstile, Yungblud), and recorded at Valley View Studios and The Park in Los Angeles.

Dead Poet Society consists of Jack Underkofler (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jack Collins (guitar, backing vocals, keyboards), Dylan Brenner (bass, guitar), and Will Goodroad (drums). The band debuted with -!- in 2021, followed by FISSION in 2024. The latter was praised by Kerrang! for its swaggering, fuzz-driven alternative rock sound, received a perfect five-star rating from New Noise, and was described as “explosive” by Rolling Stone France. The band previously performed in Budapest in 2024 on the FISSION tour and will now return to Akvárium Klub on February 16 with their latest material.

Tickets go on sale on July 3 at 10:00 AM via www.livenation.hu and www.funcode.hu.
